meet Greg

Growing up on a farm, Greg Ruh spent a lot of time working with his hands. At a young age, Greg was taught to swing a hammer and use countless other tools by his Dad, his Grandfathers, and his Uncles. Greg has always been attracted to woodworking because it's relaxing work and the final piece is both functional and beautiful.

Ruh Custom Woodworking offers a wide variety of unique custom furniture pieces from bunk beds, headboards, benches, tables, dressers and nightstands. Greg's favorite thing to work on is creating pine beds and doing his best to honor the tree from which it came. He splits his time as owner of Ruh Custom Woodworking and as a welder at Plymouth Industries. Outside of the shop, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hunting and attending local races.
